Hi, I’m Mo, founder, designer, maker, and the creative brain behind Mo’s Charm Studio.

I’ve always been a collector, a color person, and someone who notices the tiny details. I love finding things that weren’t necessarily meant to go together and figuring out how to make them work. What started with making jewelry quickly turned into something I couldn’t stop thinking about: the colors, the beads, the combinations, and the endless possibilities of what I could create next.

I personally source everything that goes into my pieces, building a constantly growing collection of glass, crystal, pearls, gemstones, gold-filled details, charms, and special finds from shops, suppliers, and makers around the world. I’m constantly searching for something new to bring into the Studio.

Every piece is designed and made by me in Detroit, one bead at a time. Sometimes that means taking a name, favorite color, memory, or idea and turning it into something completely personal. Other times, I get to follow whatever is happening in my very colorful brain, playing with color, texture, and unexpected combinations until something just feels right.

That’s the heart of Mo’s. Pieces that feel personal, colorful, a little unexpected, and unlike anything else in your collection. Everything is made by my hands, from my ideas, and with a whole lot of heart until it becomes yours.
